First Look! Ben Affleck’s Batman Cowl/Cape Goes On Display At San Diego Comic-Con

Back in May we got our first look at Ben Affleck in costume as Batman as he will appear in the upcoming superhero film Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice … but today, we get another, closer look at the costume that Ben will be wearing in the film. In honor of the 75th anniversary of the Batman character, DC Comics has erected a Batman exhibit at San Diego Comic-Con this week that pays homage to the various incarnations of the Batman costume over the years. The actual cowl and cape that Affleck will wear in Dawn of Justice is among the costumes on display. Have a look below and see what Batfleck will be wearing when DoJ hits theaters in 2016.

The cape and cowl meant for Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is on display for all Comic-Con attendees to see … It’s all part of Batman’s 75th anniversary celebration, and was even a surprise for DC Comics publishers! Here’s what we learned about the outfit: Batfleck’s ears are small, compared to the the other Batmen. He has plenty of wrinkles, appropriate for an older hero. Batman’s cape has a “faux leather effect,” says DC Comics publisher Jim Lee. Batfleck has much softer features than Christian Bale’s Dark Knight.

BLAH!!! Even tho I’m STILl not convinced that Ben Affleck is the right man to play Batman, I can’t help but be excited every time I see anything related to the new Batman V Superman movie. I love this cowl/cape. I love Batman. I’m not totally sold on Batfleck just yet but … we’ll see. What do you think of this new Batman costume? Do you dig?

I love it. And I love how it looks like it’s grinning since there’s nobody wearing it. They should probably turn it into an emoticon, just saying.
