Seth Rogen Is Writing The New ‘Workaholics’ Movie

I’m almost embarrassed to admit to how much I like the show Workaholics. It has to be the most immature, ridiculous, stoner-ific show on right now, but I can’t help it! It’s hilarious. So when I heard there was a Workaholics movie getting ready to go down, I got almost as psyched as I did over the Bored To Death movie (almost… and also– where is that movie?!). But apparently, it’s not exactly a Workaholics movie, it just stars the Workaholics cast. Anyway. I’m gonna keep calling it the Workaholics movie. Click inside for more!

LMAO… I can’t:

Celebuzz has the deets:

Things are about to get weirder.

The three lead actors of Comedy Central’s Workaholics — Adam DeVine, Anders Holm and Blake Anderson — will star in an upcoming movie together, the trio confirmed during a panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con Thursday.

According to DeVine, the action-comedy flick will not be related to Workaholics, though Superbad writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are currently attached to the project.

The conversation came up during the Tom Green-moderated panel when the boys were asked if they would ever consider working on a movie together.

“With these guys … f*** yes,” Holm replied.

In June, DeVine told Celebuzz that the trio are in the process of writing the fourth season of their comedy series, adding that things “might even go beyond weird and get to a strange level.”

Superbad writers + Workaholics cast = I am there. It sounds like this movie is in the very early stages but that doesn’t mean we can’t get psyched about Adam, ‘Ders, and Blake teaming up on the big screen. I can only imagine the dumb-assery we’re gonna experience. LMAO… agh! Can’t wait!

YASSSSSSS! Excellent news. I’m there with bells on.
Shannon, do you watch the Mindy Project? A) it’s amazeballs slathered in awesome sauce. B) Ders was her love interest and the repartee between these two was MAGIC.
