I can’t help it… I kind of love Kelly Osbourne right now. Now I’m not friends with Miley Cyrus, and I’m not all that concerned about what the rest of the world thinks of her. But Kelly just proved to be a true BFF with some recent statements she made about Miley, her critical reception, and– of course– Miley’s tongue. And considering the fact that Miley’s going through a very public break-up right now with her ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth, I’m inclined to believe that she could use a little friendly support. Click inside to see what Kelly has to say about her friend.
E! has the story:
If there’s one thing Kelly Osbourne knows for sure—that Miley Cyrus isn’t putting on some act just for attention.
“This is something that George from Fashion Police can attest to because he met her for the first time and goes, ‘Wow, she’s exactly how you would imagine her to be and how she portrays herself to be,'” Osbourne said at British Airways’ launch party for its new Airbus A380. “And that’s the truth.”
Cyrus told Rolling Stone magazine said she doesn’t care what the critics have to say about her recent performances and other musical endeavors.
“If you don’t like it then piss off,” Osbourne said, adding, “She’s a young woman who is just expressing herself.”
That doesn’t mean Osbourne likes everything the “Wrecking Ball” popstar does.
“This outfit Lady Gaga wore to the Grammy’s three years ago when she came out of an egg,” Osbourne said on Fashion Police about the former Hannah Montana’s now infamous MTV VMAs performance. “It’s not that original but I do appreciate its reminiscent of the ‘Blurred Lines’ music video. It’s just…Miley’s my friend and I love her, and I have her back no matter what, but as her friend I’m going to tell her: ‘Put your f–king tongue in your mouth. I love you, but just put your tongue in your mouth.'”
LMAO! I love it! Kelly really sounds like a true friend here– I love you, but put your tongue back in your mouth. Sigh. Finally, somebody said it!
Here’s hoping Miley takes the good advice. I completely get where Kelly’s coming from. I mean, isn’t this pretty much how must of us would defend our friends? As a friend, I’m sure it gets tiresome to hear someone you love come under attack so much; the least you can do is tell folks to piss off.
