Just about 24 hours after Baby Cambridge was born yesterday, his parents Kate Middleton and Prince William introduced him to the world. Wills, Kate and the day-old prince emerged from the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London, England just moments ago to greet the world’s press. After they posed for a few (thousand) photos as a family, they approached the media to say a few words about the new prince. Then, they went back inside for a few moments and then emerged again with Baby Cambridge in a car seat before the entire family whisked themselves away to their home at nearby Kensington Palace. It was really a wonderful thing to see live (I had the Livestream broadcasting the entire event earlier, I’ll post the recorded video of the baby’s introduction below) … click below to see some photos and video from this really special royal event and get your FIRST LOOK at Baby Cambridge — he’s a cutie!!
Here are photos of Wills, Kate and Baby Cambridge as they first emerged from the hospital, I’ve quoted Prince William’s first words about his son below:
Prince William: He’s got a good pair of lungs on him, that’s for sure. He’s a big boy, he’s quite heavy. We’re still working on a name, so we’ll have that as soon as we can.
Then Kate was asked how they are feeling right now:
Kate Middleton: It’s very emotional, it’s such a special time, I think and any parent sort of knows what this feeling feels like.
Prince William: It’s very special.
Wills also said that the baby prince “has her looks, thankfully” and when asked about the baby’s hair Will said, “he’s got way more than me, thank God.” LOL! OMG I love this little family so much!! Here are photos of Wills, Kate and the baby as they loaded up in to their car to leave the hospital … thus far, this is our best first look at Baby Cambridge yet:
Here are a few professional photos that give us a few different angles of the little prince:
And here is video from earlier today:
AHHHH, he’s so tiny and so pink! I love it!!! I’m sure we’ll be hearing a LOT more about Baby Cambridge in the days and months to come. We still have to learn his name (I’m hoping for George) and, of course, his first official photo. Stay tuned, more baby news to come when it is made available. For now, let’s send our love and congrats to the newly expanded family and a hearty WELCOME TO THE WORLD, BABY CAMBRIDGE!
