Prince William, Kate Middleton & Their Newborn Prince Leave The Hospital

Meet The Newly Expanded Royal Family

Just about 24 hours after Baby Cambridge was born yesterday, his parents Kate Middleton and Prince William introduced him to the world. Wills, Kate and the day-old prince emerged from the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London, England just moments ago to greet the world’s press. After they posed for a few (thousand) photos as a family, they approached the media to say a few words about the new prince. Then, they went back inside for a few moments and then emerged again with Baby Cambridge in a car seat before the entire family whisked themselves away to their home at nearby Kensington Palace. It was really a wonderful thing to see live (I had the Livestream broadcasting the entire event earlier, I’ll post the recorded video of the baby’s introduction below) … click below to see some photos and video from this really special royal event and get your FIRST LOOK at Baby Cambridge — he’s a cutie!!

Here are photos of Wills, Kate and Baby Cambridge as they first emerged from the hospital, I’ve quoted Prince William’s first words about his son below:

Prince William: He’s got a good pair of lungs on him, that’s for sure. He’s a big boy, he’s quite heavy. We’re still working on a name, so we’ll have that as soon as we can.

Then Kate was asked how they are feeling right now:

Kate Middleton: It’s very emotional, it’s such a special time, I think and any parent sort of knows what this feeling feels like.
Prince William: It’s very special.

Wills also said that the baby prince “has her looks, thankfully” and when asked about the baby’s hair Will said, “he’s got way more than me, thank God.” LOL! OMG I love this little family so much!! Here are photos of Wills, Kate and the baby as they loaded up in to their car to leave the hospital … thus far, this is our best first look at Baby Cambridge yet:

Here are a few professional photos that give us a few different angles of the little prince:

And here is video from earlier today:

AHHHH, he’s so tiny and so pink! I love it!!! I’m sure we’ll be hearing a LOT more about Baby Cambridge in the days and months to come. We still have to learn his name (I’m hoping for George) and, of course, his first official photo. Stay tuned, more baby news to come when it is made available. For now, let’s send our love and congrats to the newly expanded family and a hearty WELCOME TO THE WORLD, BABY CAMBRIDGE!

not only did baby cambridge know to wave to the media, he even showed how smooth he is by throwing up the deuces too! celebrity kids watch out, there’s a new prince in town.

  3. Samantha

My favorite part, the fact that William put him in the car. I’m very happy for them.

  4. Ashley P

I was on watching on three feeds! Two on my computer and one on my phone so I could have sound. The computer I was on didn’t have speakers. LOL They seem so normal :) I can’t wait to see and hear more about him!

  5. I love this family as well!

  6. Alecia

So cute! I love Will’s sense of humor. You can tell they’re in full parent mode already. I hope they decide to have another one in a couple of years so he can have a sibling.

  7. Love how Will and Kate insist on doing everything themselves. How times have changed for the Royals!

  8. Lulu

    Darling :)

But holy guacamole that is NOT how you safely put a baby in a car seat!! gah.

  9. One baby to rule us all!!!

The royal baby was born on my birthday. So should I be expecting some sort of commemorative plate or afghan in the mail? I mean, doesn’t sharing a birthday make us play cousins now?

  10. awwww. i love this family! the only thing that would make it better is that in 22 years or so, the royal baby marries Harper Beckham.

  11. Luna

I LOVE how Kate still has a tummy and she doesn’t mind being photographed for the world to see. This is REAL body, people. All those celebrities who get back into shapes in 3 months or less, watch and learn.
