Kanye West Is Officially Returning To Fashion Design

He's Collaborating With The French Brand, APC

One thing I realized after Yeezus dropped is that Kanye West can pretty much do whatever he wants. Looking back over his musical catalogue reminded me that he’s gone down so many different paths, and was successful in some way or another with all of them. Even when Kanye ventured into fashion design he made waves and was taken seriously for the short amount of time that he was involved. Recently in that epic W Magazine interview he talked about wanting to get back involved with fashion (among, like, a million other things) and it looks like it’s already going down. Click inside to read up on his collaboration with Parisian fashion brand, A.P.C.!

E! has the story:

Kanye West is taking a break from his dad duties and taking on the role of fashion designer yet again.

This time, baby North West’s daddy has teamed up with French brand APC for a men’s collection.

After W Magazine hinted at the collaboration last month, noting the rapper’s “new men’s capsule collection of jeans, T-shirts, and hoodies,” the brand officially confirmed the collaboration via their Instagram.

Posting a pic of blue demin with a red tag that reads “A.P.C. Kanye”, the caption confirms the line will be availabe on July 14, reading: “A.P.C. KANYE CAPSULE COLLECTION, JULY 14. #apc #kanyewest”

No word yet on what the actual pieces will look like, but knowing Kanye, we’re sure they’ll be unique.

Well, I’m hella excited to see what this collection will look like. It’s definitely Yeezy season and I know that Kanye‘s gotta be psyched to be working with a French brand. Back when he was first getting started in fashion he interned with Fendi, and it looks like he’ll be getting more experience in the game with this collaboration.

Hopefully, we’ll get to see some new pieces soon! In the meantime you can check out some of APC‘s designs HERE on Instagram.

APC and Kanye is a CRAZY GOOD collaboration. Their aesthetics will mesh really well and as much as I can dislike Kanye, I’m really excited to see what they come up with. Fashion will always win me over.

Gotta love that the release date is Bastille Day. Kanye is turning out to be quite the Francophile.

  2. I liked Kanye better when he was called Urkel. #thoseglasses
