In early May we learned that British songstress Adele was being immortalized in wax by Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in London, England and today we get our first look at her waxen likeness as it is unveiled in London. As you can see below, Adele is captured mid-performance … and she looks damn good. Have a look, won’t you?
Madame Tussauds London has unveiled its latest creation: a wax figure of British songbird Adele. Adele’s wax likeness has her — where else? — standing in front of a microphone looking quite serious and dressed in her signature black. It’s a recreation of her 2012 Grammys look when she both performed and collected a bunch of awards. The dress is a Clements Ribeiro design.
Yeah, I thought the early sculpt of Adele that we saw in May looked good but … wow, the finished product is stunning. It looks really lifelike, doesn’t it? Right down to her signature fingernails, this wax version of Adele looks so much like the real deal. Well done, Madame Tussaud’s, very well done.0
