Kanye West *just* released his new album Yeezus just 2 days ago but according to a new report from Life & Style magazine, it sounds like Kanye is already hard at work on a new batch of music. According to “insiders” close to West, he’s been inspired so greatly by the birth of his first born child that he’s reportedly written 4 songs already. You may recall that Kanye‘s friend Jay-Z was so inspired by the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy that he recorded and released a song in her honor titled Glory that featured “vocalizations” by the newborn baby. Is this something we might expect from Kanye and his as-yet-unnamed daughter?
Will Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s newborn debut her crying voice on a song like Blue Ivy? Life & Style has learned that Jay-Z’s rap protege, Kanye, is following in his dear friend’s footsteps by recording new music about his baby girl. “He’s been really inspired by the birth,” an insider shares with Life & Style of Kanye’s adoration for his daughter. “He’s written four songs already.” With his creative juices flowing and his much-anticipated album, Yeezus, released yesterday, friends and family are pleasantly surprised at how attentive the new papa has been. “Kanye is actually really being good right now,” the insider dishes.
If true, I’m not surprised by this at all. Kanye West is a very prolific writer, he probably writes songs on a daily basis. I can see how a life development like the birth of a daughter could be hugely inspirational for the rapper. I don’t think he’ll release a song with his daughter in the same way that Jay-Z did back in early 2012 only because he wouldn’t want to look like a copycat … but I would not at all be surprised if he dropped a new baby-related song sometime this summer. At this point, we still don’t know the baby’s name so it looks like all we’ll get is radio silence from Team Kanye until he’s good and ready to let the world in on his joy.
