Back in January, Britney Spears tweeted the news that she was recording a song for “her boys”. At the time we weren’t exactly sure what she was referring to but a few months later we eventually learned that Britney was referring to her new song Ooh La La, a track she recorded for The Smurfs 2 soundtrack (and, naturally, for her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James who are, apparently, fans of the new Smurfs movie). Yesterday afternoon, Britney posted a new tweet on her official Twitter profile letting us that she is recording a new song for “all her boys”. HMMM. Who do you suppose she is referring to this time? Read on and let’s take a look.
This is what Britney tweeted yesterday:
And here are a couple of tweets from a music producer who works with will.i.am, who is — as you may know — executive producer of Britney‘s upcoming album:
I think it’s fair to say this one is for the “boyz”… lol. / And, they’re gonna love it!
It would appear that this producer is making it clear that Britney is recording a song for the gays. Now, whether that means it will be a song specifically geared as a gay anthem OR if it will just be one of her usual hot dance tracks that the gays will devour when it hits the clubs is anyone’s guess. Considering the hint that Britney gave us when she was talking about Ooh La La (a song that was crafted for a kids’ movie), I’m guessing that this new song will be crafted with her gay fans in mind. I suppose we’ll have to wait and see but we can take great comfort in the fact that Britney is currently hard at work on her new album RIGHT NOW so … soon … hopefully we’ll get to hear new stuff soon.
