Jennifer Lawrence Grabs Lunch In Full X-Men Makeup

A couple of weeks ago we got to see a photo of actress Jennifer Lawrence in full costume as Mystique on the set of the forthcoming prequel sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past. Today we get to see a couple more photos of J. Law in costume on set … but in the photos, she’s not bizzy filming action scenes. She was snapped backstage coming out of her trailer with lunch in hand. What makes the photos a bit more interesting in that she was still in full blue mutant make-up so … neat!

She is best known for her turn in The Hunger Games. So it is somewhat understandable that Jennifer Lawrence felt the need to tuck in on the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past in Montreal on Saturday. The Oscar-winning actress was keen to maintain her curves as she took advantage of a break in filming to enjoy a meal. Jennifer, 22, looked in fine figure wearing just a skin-tight bodysuit and blue bodypaint … Jennifer previously revealed she actually enjoyed the seven-hours in make-up required for her to appear as the shape-shifting mutant Mystique. She said: ‘There was no CG for me. It’s the same technology and the same methods they were using on Rebecca Romijn, the original Mystique ten years ago.
‘I know everybody feels sorry for me, but we’re having so much fun. It’s like a sleepover, except I’m naked and being painted.’

Hahaha, I just love her. I guess even tho she loves spending 7 hours getting her body painted blue, she’s not going to wipe any of it off for lunch breaks. I think Jennifer Lawrence makes an excellent Mystique and I’m very much looking forward to seeing her in the role again when Days of Future Past is released next year. I would like to see more photos of J. Law doing normal things in costume on the film set. It’s not every day that we get to see a mutant in the wild.

They should have started with “She’s best known for her hunger.”

First her hunger at the oscars, and now this. The irony is that she is in the movie called Hunger games hahaha Gotta love her!

I feel like Mystique would have never let her guard down enough to ever let us see her eat her lunch, so thank you, Jennifer, for these stolen moments of mutant awesome.
