Watch: Justin Timberlake Performs ‘Strawberry Bubblegum’ On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’

Justin Timberlake brought the supersexy to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on night 4 of his week long residency on the show. For last night’s performance, JT performed the song Strawberry Bubblegum for the first time ever … which is a track featured on his new album The 20/20 Experience (which you can stream IN FULL right now ahead of its release next Tuesday). Take a listen to Bubblegum above and try not to make any babies, ya hear? Then, click below to watch a fun comedy skit that features young Justin Timberlake and young Jimmy Fallon at Summer Camp together :) It’s kinda cute and stuff.

Oh wow…that was a really, really cool performance…real chill, even with the dancing…I was ready to start hating but damn…guess the chuck not…I was REALLY digging that!

to me he’s the male beyonce. They both know music, know how to come up with a catchy tune, how to make music that will sell. But neither one has a great voice or ear, yet they can entertain those who are…… hmmm easily entertained and don’t expect much- kinda mindless fun, i guess? None of their songs will ever stay with us forever, generations from now no one is gonna be listening to beyonce or jt, but it’s nice to have them around for a catchy, good for running – type of tune.

I disagree I think their music is going to last longer than one generation. They both have appeal to generations and genres other than the ones they strated in.
While not every song is a classic, the fact that people are still covering Cry Me a River and Crazy in Love 10 years later says alot to me.

you really think none of their music will live on? seriously?

    • Krissy

      1. Pop music is SUPPOSED to me mindless fun.
      2. Some of the music with the longest staying power is pop (see Beach Boys, early Beatles, etc.) Not only does this genre inspire nostalgia in later years, but it is also perfect for use in advertising. In 10 years it wouldnt’ surprise me if a cereal commercial goes something like:
“These Puffs got me acting so crazy right now,
These puffs keep saying eat me right now,
Lookin so crazy these Puffs got me lookin
Got me lookin so crazy these Pufffffs.”

Whilst I don’t love every song he does, I do love JT. He is a talent, a funnyman and and seems like a nice guy. I wish him all the best. and I have SO been enjoying his comedic appearances as of late! :)
