Drew Barrymore And Adam Sandler Are Reuniting For A New Romantic Comedy

Okay, so you may not be a huge Adam Sandler fan but there’s no way you don’t love the on-screen romances that he’s had over the years with the one and only Drew Barrymore. The Wedding Singer?! 50 First Dates?! C’mon! LOL, I love those movies (especially The Wedding Singer) and I was so ridiculously psyched to hear that Adam and Drew were teaming up again. They’ve got an untitled romantic comedy in the works, and I cannot wait to see what it’s all about. Click inside to learn more!

Paste Magazine has the deets:

Rom-Com fans rejoice. One of our favorite onscreen couples will be back together soon. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are set to star in an untitled romantic comedy at Warner Bros., according to The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the report, the film is about a man and woman who, after enduring a disastrous blind date, become trapped in a hotel with each other along with their children from previous marriages. Undoubtedly, some type of attraction will spark between the characters along with some (hopefully) hilarious happenstances.

Sandler-Barrymore comedies have been successful in the past with both 50 First Dates and The Wedding Singer ranking up serious numbers at the box office.

Along with working with Barrymore again, Sandler also finds a familiar colleague in the director, Frank Coraci, who’s directed Sandler three times in the past.

This sounds unsurprisingly adorable, right? I don’t know what it is about these two, but they are so cute and so believable on screen together, I love it!

Anybody else psyched for this one?!

  • Diana

Somehow her on-screen sweetness tames his on-screen dummy act enough to make it almost believable. :)

  • Rani

It kinda sounds like the chemestry between characters as in One fine day, with Michelle Pfeifer and George Clooney, taking care of each other kids and not liking each other at the begining

  • Silly

I will watch Drew Barrymore in anything. This sounds horrible but I like her because while she is soooo charming and beautiful, every once in a while the camera catches her at an ‘ugly’ angle and she looks just like one of us. That makes her so much more approachable and human.

She also edifies Adam Sandler to a watchable level. On his own he’s a complete dolt.
