Hello Lisa

The TV Guide

Last night was a really great night for me. I got to meet up with some dear friends who I haven’t seen in a while (for various reasons) so that we could catch up on what’s been going on. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this group of friends — Dino, Russ, Tammy and Milo — are the dearest people I know and I love that we are able to pick up where we left off no matter how much time has passed since our last hang out. Darion managed to organize a group dinner and we supped together last night for a few hours. It was really exactly what I needed to rejuvenate my soul.

I know I say this all the time but it’s really true, I have the most amazing friends in the world. No matter how bad things seem at the moment, all of that negativity just disappears when I’m able to spend time with loved ones. I didn’t formally make a resolution this New Year’s but in the back of my mind, I’ve committed to spending more time with the people closest to me. I know where this gang of folks live so, yeah, they’ll be seeing more of me this year for sure :D

This afternoon, I get to hang out with my dear friend Angie who moved back to Boston, MA last year and is back for a quick visit. I love her to death as well so we’ll be hanging out this afternoon. Tonight, I’m seeing Lisa Loeb and Nine Stories in concert at the Bootleg Bar:

I mean, OMG, I’ve loved Lisa forever. I’m so happy she’s got a new album to take on the road and … HELLO, she’s performing with Nine Stories so, duh, of course I’m going to her show :D Today is going to be a fun day, I can’t wait to get out there and experience it. Happy Hump Day, y’all!!

  1. Russ

We love you and I’m sure Ron “the log” loves you as well!

    outback!

  2. OMG! WAY! You are so lucky! I haven’t seen Lisa Loeb and the Nine Stories since 1996 at SDSU, and I cannot even lie I’m so jealous right now. If I could I would drive my booty down to LA tonight I would, instead, I’ll live vicariously through you. Oh, but I am sorry to say, I have the best friends in the world, so I know you’re lucky for the show but I hear you on being blessed in the friend department :)

  3. That’s a great resolution Trent! stick to it!
