A Sunday Funday

After a very emotional morning, I decided that yesterday was going to be a fun day for me … so I got out of the house and stayed bizzy. I made the trek down to Anaheim, CA to have some fun at Disney’s California Adventure and Disneyland before I met up with some friends for a fun dinner party together. I ended my night at the Echoplex dancing my buns off at the Part Time Punks danceparty that featured music by The Smiths & Morrissey. It was a long, active day … but it was really fun.

The weather was perfect for playing at Disney. I didn’t spend too much time in the parks because I had a full schedule but I managed to eat some junk, ride some rides and really enjoy myself. Dinner was at Diablo in Silverlake and I got to spend time with Ollie, Tamar, Caleb and Rob. Dancing was at the Echoplex, with music curated by DJ Jose Maldonado. I love his Smiths/Morrissey danceparties. The place was packed with happy people dancing around to mopey music … it was the best.

I had so much fun last night that I’m still feeling the effects today. I’m glad today is a holiday here in the US cuz I need to take it a bit easy :)

I shall be relaxing today so … I’ll deffo be putting my new couch to good use :) I hope all y’all are having a great President’s Day here in the US or a fabulous Monday elsewhere in the world :D

I’m glad to hear you got out of the house and had some fun yesterday. I’m sure you have had many people tell you they have been where you are and it does get better. Well, it’s true. It takes a lot of time. The pain slowly diminishes away…too slowly unfortunately. Luckily, you have amazing friends and that is such a HUGE help. Trust me. Thinking of you! xo

I just somehow knew you’d end up at Dland. I could just feel it. Was a gorgeous day for it. :)

I had a dream about you last night, Trent. It was bizarre. You were on a reality show about obsessive fans or something around that theme. You were showing off your basement lol. The walls were covered with Nsync (WTF), Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears posters and clippings. The room was full of other pop culture memorabilia too. You could tell the host was a bit irked that this was a grown ass man’s basement! LOL :)

    • @Lynne — LOL!!!!! That is amazing :D

How you fit so much into one day amazes me. I would have been holed up in my robe with a pint of Ben & Jerrys. And this is why you’re going to continue to be awesome Trent!

    • @emily — “I would have been holed up in my robe with a pint of Ben & Jerrys” I did a month of that a few months ago. If I spend too much time alone, especially on harder days, all I do is dwell. I’m lucky to have friends who are willing play with me when I need to :)
