‘Beautiful Creatures’ Star Zoey Deutch Does ‘Bello’ Magazine

The Return of the 'Ringer' Star

Yesterday we saw photos of actor Thomas Mann as featured in the new Hollywood Issue of Bello magazine. Today we get to see his Beautiful Creatures co-star Zoey Deutch also featured in Bello. You may recognize Zoey from her work in the EXCELLENT TV series Ringer that was unjustly cancelled before it’s time … and you may be very surprised (as I was) to learn that she is the daughter of actress Lea Thompson (Back to the Future) and director Howard Deutch (Pretty in Pink). So cool, right? I loved her in Ringer and I’m sure I’ll love her in Beautiful Creatures … AND as the star of the film adaptation of the Vampire Academy book series. Click thru the gallery to see her Bello photos and click below to read excerpts from her accompanying interview.

On parental advice: Floss your teeth and treat people the way you want to be treated; not necessarily in that order.

On printed books vs. e-books: I am a fan now and think the story is both unique and beautiful. I might be the only person in the world who doesn’t own a kindle, iPad/tablet, or anything of that sort. While treading a fine line of sounding annoying, I just can’t fully focus on reading on a screen. I need to hold a book and flip pages.

On what she misses most about Ringer: I will miss the people I got to work with the most. They were so caring and taught me an immense amount about film technique (no, I did not know how to hit my mark when I started the show), etiquette, as well as performance. What I will miss most about playing Juliet is her ferocious sense of teenage angst and/or bi polar tendencies. Hah.

You can see and read more from this Bello feature by downloading the issue HERE. It sounds like things are going very well for Zoey Deutch these days … thus far, I’m a fan. I can’t wait to see what else she’s got planned.

  1. Lynsey

She’s the one that I think should be in the 50 shades movie! I actually love her and hope that she doesn’t do the movies, but she’d make a perfect lead for that.

  2. Heather

Insanely excited to see her in the Vampire Academy series

I just can’t get excited about her in Vampire Academy; Blood Sisters. I’ve never seen her in anything, so i’m withholding judgement on her acting. But would it of killed casting to cast someone that was actually half Turkish?
