The other day we saw a new photo shoot featuring the lovely Miranda Kerr in the pages of Jalouse Magazine. I was a little disappointed in the spread, and the fact that they felt the need to photoshop what really is a perfect face. And considering the photos on this new gallery, it’s necessary to quote PITNBR rOXy, who weighed in on the photoshop travesty: You know a chick is perfect when candid pap snaps of her waltzing through an airport look better than a $bajillion shoot for a major mag. Exactly. Peep the gallery to see rOXy‘s point proven!

well, this is depressing. I’m going to go eat more pizza now.
Thank god the paparazzi don’t follow me through the airport… Ugh, she is perfect and I hate her. No, I love her.
Wha’s the big deal? I look just like that when traveling, too..Only add a few fat rolls..And bags under the eyes..And sloppy curly hair..So..Yeah..Maybe I look NOTHING like that pretty biznatch when I’m doing anything at any time..Ever..
She did this just for MEEEEEE. To show me she IS human after all, and not just some glossied up hussy who lives only in my imagination. She’s that too, but that’s beside the point. Never has a gray basic T looked so chic.
This reminds me of when Bradley Cooper was speaking french on tape and a lot of men exclaimed, “Well, I give up.”
I feel like that with Miranda Kerr. I give up. Pass me the donuts.
I know, right? hahaha
I read some tips in Allure wayyy back in high school that work well for me when traveling: (My friends are witches that waste no time going from airport to going out on the town.)
1. Tinted moisturizer or bb cream before landing (and before they make you stow everything) because the dry recirculated air sucks all the moisture out of your skin. (Likewise, stay hydrated and lay off the alcohol and soda which will make bags look worse!)
2. Little bit of eyeliner, mascara, and gloss, keep it natural. Blush and/or concealer if you’re adventurous.
3. Figure out a no-fuss hairdo before the flight and stick with it. I like a high ponytail or bun, low key yet chic.
It also helps if you have a non-judgmental travel companion. It’s odd primping next to a total stranger in confined quarters.
