Miley Cyrus Bares Her Boobs On The Cover Of ‘Cosmopolitan’ Magazine

Popstar/actress Miley Cyrus is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Cosmopolitan magazine and as you can see below, she is baring more than her soul on the cover. In attempt, I’m guessing, to look more grown up, Miley is provocatively showing a considerable amount of boobage in her coverphoto. Inside the mag, she shares more of what’s inside … like her feelings about her famous BFFs, her feelings about her fiancée Liam Hemsworth and her feelings on having a big wedding (which, she claims, she’s not interested in having). Cyrus on the part of her life she is most satisfied with: “Number one is my relationship with Liam. That’s what I feel the most confident in because you never know; there’s so much hype behind my new record, but it could come out and, worst-case scenario, everyone fucking hates it.”

On celebrating her competition: “Katy Perry’s been my friend for fucking five years, and I’m not ever gonna let our work get between that relationship. If Katy sticks with being Katy, and Ke$ha is Ke$ha, and Rihanna is Rihanna, and I’m me, there’s room for everybody.”

On whether she has moments where she’s still struck by how hot he is: “Yeah, all the time! I’ll literally look at him and be like ‘You are hot, dear god!’ The other day, I turned on the pool heater and it was steaming, and he walked outside and took off his clothes and jumped in the pool. I was like, ‘I’m gonna faint – the hottest guy of my life is in a steaming pool. This looks like a Playgirl shoot.’ So I took a photo and made it the background on my phone and was like, ‘Who’s that? He is so hot!’ That’s my hubby.”

On what she wants her wedding to be like: “I feel the bigger the wedding, the more it becomes a target for people to ruin. So we just want it to be small, with the people who we’d take bullets for. I don’t want to be looking at those photos and see people that I wish hadn’t been there. C’mon, I can’t even get coffee without a million paparazzi following me, so I don’t know why anyone thinks I’m going to have this huge, extravagant wedding. That is so not who I am.”

Here are a couple photos from her accompanying spread …

… and here is behind the scenes video from her Cosmo shoot:

I mean, maybe it’s just me but I’m still having a hard time seeing little Miley Cyrus as anything other than Hannah Montana. The thought that she is getting married (and everything that that entails, ahem) just seems so strange to me. I get that I’m not the target audience when Miley gets all sexual but I just can’t see it. Still, whether I or anyone else likes it or not, Miley is growing up and she wants us all to be well aware of that fact. IMHO, tho, Miley is in that Not a Girl, Not yet a woman phase so … she’s gonna hafta keep trying, I suppose.

I really din’t hold it against it her for photoshoots like this. Judging by her Twitter, she really does have a more ‘mature’ and ‘dirty’ sense of humour than what you expect from a Disney star but she’s 20 and that’s the way A LOT of 20-year-olds talk and I kind of love her for putting it out there.
And I hate how she gets hate for what she is wearing. When Zac Efron (who was also a Disney star) started doing topless photos everyone loved it. It was all ‘phwoar, look at Zac Efron all grown up. Keep those photos coming!’ But with Miley she’s a ‘slut’ and it’s ‘wrong’ for a (FEMALE) Disney star to be seen as a sexual being. I think Miley is lookin’ damn fine but she seems more stable than a lot of young actresses/musicians out there. Fair play to her!

ALL OF THIS!!! I feel the same way!

Exactly! Sums it up perfectly! :)

I’ve never seen any Hannah Montana stuff. Probably because I live in Belgium.
Anyway, I don’t mind those pics. She seems mature enough, she’s 20, and it’s not like it was too graphic.

i like the pics..though the make up & background colour wash her out a little.
i’ve kinda grown to love miley over the past couple years. she seems like one of the more mature young startlets, with a good head on her shoulders.

Miley has always been a precocious and self-assured girl, no matter what stage of her life she’s at. I agree with Trent: she’s still growing up and learning, no matter how mature she comes off as. Right now, this is the image she wants to portray, so whatever, rebel rebel. (Seriously, her whole style changed with the haircut. It’s like she took on a role all of the sudden.)

I love Miley and I LOVE this photoshoot. Girl is lookin’ hella hot!

  • ClaireMichelle

She looks amazing! And she is wearing a lot more clothing than most celebs on magazine covers these days. And I love the bits of the interview. I really like her thoughts on her eventual wedding. I feel like Miley would be a fun friend to have, honestly.

I really, really love these photos. They’re sexy yet, but they also show a funny side to her with the faces she makes. I cannot hate it.

I have nothing against the photoshoot, but Cosmo is aimed at a mid 20s-30s even 40s crowd and Miley Cyrus isn’t really of interest to the majority of their fan base. Her music is aimed at a younger crowd, her movies have all been aimed at the teenagers, so why would Cosmo have her on their cover? They recently changed editors and I am finding the newer Cosmo to be a little more “Seventeen” and less mature.

I think Miley is a LOT more fitting for Cosmo than Demi Lovato or Selena Gomez, two other ladies who have graced the cover of Cosmo recently. (I’m pretty sure this was under the last editor too.) Her lifestyle is totally different, and she’s a lot more mature. The aim of her Cosmo cover may be to introduce her to an older audience.

As far as Joanna Coles? I completely disagree with you. This is the first time in a LONG while that Cosmo seems fresh, and not the same recycled sex tips month after month. I don’t get Seventeen out of it at all. I’m loving the new point of view.

My interest waned after the second f*bomb. It’s like she’s trying too hard to show that she’s grown up and edgy.

Let’s be honest, if we all had bodies like Miley’s we would definitely be playing dress up at photoshoots (I might even be wearing those clothes to the grocery store). For the most part, Miley has been a fairly decent role model; no spilling out of clubs at 4am, no boyfriend hopping, etc. etc. I try to remember that she’s probably been treated and felt like she needed to act like an adult for a very long time. Now that she really IS an adult, she’s figuring out what that really means….with the whole world watching.
