First Listen: Britney Spears Teams Up With Hit-Boy, Lil’ Wayne, Waka & Diddy For A Remix Of ‘Scream & Shout’

We SO Are Not Ready

It’s been 2 months since Britney Spears and will.i.am released their fun music video for their new single Scream & Shout … so it’s about time for a remix, right? Well, like it or not a remix is on the way … produced by Hit-Boy, the man who will also be working on Britney‘s upcoming new album, a new remix of Scream & Shout will be released featuring vocals by Lil’ Wayne, Waka Flocka Flame and P. Diddy. HMMM … just what the song needs … more rappers and less Britney? HMMMMM. Take a listen below.

Will I am + Britney Spears + Hit-Boy + Diddy + Waka + Lil Wayne. #ScreamandShoutRemix #HS87 / I don’t think the world is ready for the #ScreamandShoutRemix @iamwill @Hit_Boy @iamdiddy @WakaFlockaBSM @LilTunechi Let’s GO!!!! / Can’t wrap me up, I’m goin pop haaaaa. #HS87 remix.

And wouldn’t you know it, the song has leaked online already:

As I understand it, a music video for this new remix was shot this week and the song is supposed to be out and ready for use in a new Super Bowl commercial for Beats by Dre headphones (a different commercial from the one that was released back in November). There are an awful lot of folks on this song now and not a single curse word … I’m not sure what to think. How ’bout you?

  1. Well, you already know I’m down for it. LMAO at that picture of Hit Boy on the video… which is really a picture of Pusha T. I was so pumped for a second, thinking that he was on this!

But OMG, never thought I’d here Flocka on a track with Godney. Where am I?!?!

  2. bleedingEars

    Hate it.

  3. Kim

I think it could def use less rappers and more Brit but the beat is HOT. I like it a lot overall!

  4. Isabelle

    Errrr…Where did Britney go ?

  5. Mark

    Brit’s in it… I love it!

  6. James

I like it. In the words of Godney herself during her reign as X-Factor Queen. It’s “Something more urban.” It just needs more Britney to really bring me back to In the Zone-ney/Blackout-ney. Pefect. And Will.I.Am actually had a good verse?!

  7. Sara

I like the original better… and I don’t love that one. Can’t wait for new Brit music that is just her!

  8. More Britney needed. It’s the only reason that song is a smash hit.

  9. not too bad…i kinda feel like there may be TOO many people on it now though…and that maybe Brits vocals are a little too high now.
who ever thought you would see britney, wayne & flocka on the same song?

  10. Thanks, but I’ll take a pass. This reminds me of mirrored funhouses. Just chaos. I liked the original cut, except for the will.i.am parts because he’s a bit drippy. I are a dancer, and I’d be hella beating to the groove until his little, whiney, wimpy voice would just throw cold water over me. Sorta like a musical cock block, I guess.

  11. Alex

If this is a sign of what her new album will sound like, we’re in big trouble…

    • @Alex — Keep in mind, this is a will.i.am song so it’s not necessarily representative of what Britney’s new album will sound like. I find it hard to believe that her people would allow such a shift in content and tone like this.

  12. Brenna

That was not for me. Ugh.
