Britney Spears Is Reportedly About To Close Her Las Vegas Deal

She's Set To Earn More Than Celine Dion's $100 Million
Fox's "The X Factor" Season Finale - Night 1

I know it’s been a difficult week in Britney Spears news, what with her break-up from fiancé Jason Trawick. Britwick may be, sadly, DUNZO but Britney still has a lot of cool things in the works, and it looks like she’ll be very busy this year. We’ve heard lots of buzzing about her new album, and now that she’s quit The X-Factor, she might have time to work on that Vegas deal Trent reported on back in April of last year! Click inside to learn more!

TMZ has the report:

Britney Spears’ team has almost locked an enormously lucrative deal which will make her a fortune in return for appearing in Las Vegas … TMZ has learned.

TMZ broke the story … Britney is seriously considering picking up stakes and making her residency Las Vegas — something just made easier after her split with fiance Jason Trawick. She’s been negotiating with one of the Caesar group properties to appear in a Celine Dion-type show.

Sources connected to the negotiations tell us … from Brit’s standpoint, “The deal is a go. There are several stipulations that could throw a monkey wrench in the deal, but it’s basically done.”

One of the outstanding issues — exactly what Britney will be doing. There’s back-and-forth over whether she will just perform on stage at a big theater multiple nights a week, or whether she will also make appearances at functions in the hotels, nightclubs and pool day clubs.

Our sources say the money being negotiated is “astronomical” — more than Celine’s $100 mil a year.

Honestly? I’m rooting for this to happen… mainly for Trent. In fact, entirely for Trent, lol! I know he would love, love, love for Britney to be, like, 5 seconds away from him so here’s hoping they close the deal.

What do you guys think of Britney doing Vegas? I’ve never seen one of these shows but from what I understand they’re kind of a big deal!

Id love to see that show, but I hope she sings and doesnt lip synch. No one should get that much money to not really sing.

    • She certainly won’t sing….and judging from the way she has performed in the past few years, she will barely dance either. All the performances on TV I’ve seen plus videos of the Femme Fatale tour she mainly just walked around and moved her arms.

If Britney got this deal back in the “Britney” and “In The Zone” days, this would’ve been a great show to see, but now…..not so much.

I’m not too excited about this, for some reason. I will be very happy with just a new album and tour.

Vegas seems so flashy and the “appearances at hotels, nightclubs and pool day clubs” is getting a whole lot of side eye from me.

  3. I’ve seen Brit Brit 5 times and for some reason I feel as tho this Vegas stint is “beneath” her. And would rob the chance of many fans to see her live. I really just don’t know how I feel about this. The only reason I think she would be considering this is because of the boys. We’ll just have to wait and see.

I would love this…mainly because I will be moving to Vegas within a year haha

  5. I don’t know..On one hand, it would be pretty sweet to have her performing so often only 6 hours away, but it also sounds like a big undertaking..What about her new album or future albums? She wouldn’t be able to tour to promote if she had a show in Vegas, right? And, no offense, but Vegas is so cheeseball! She’s such a California girl now! I AM interested to see what they’d put together, though..

  6. Vegas used to be a place that washed up artists would go to live their last glory days. That’s changed a bit, but I think it is too early in Brit’s career for this move. Me no likey. I am not sure the Vegas life will be a positive influence on her. It’s seedy, it’s cheap, it’s tacky.

I would love Brit Brit to have a fresh start after leaving the X Factor and her relationship to Jason. A little breathing space to reassess and just bask in the love of her family, a new album to keep her constructive — if this is what she wants — are all healthy, but experience and intuition tells me that a healthy strategy does not include commitments to a massive 50-show set in Vegas, of all places. Sin City isn’t exactly the best place for someone recovering from a broken engagement or her little boys.

  8. I was excited about this, but now with the comments.. Idk. I mean, I’ll definitely plan on going to Vegas to see her if it happens. But Idk… I just hope she and her “people” are making the best decisions for not only her career but for her as well. And if they think so, then I will continue to support dear Brit Brit!

Well, considering how happy I was when I mentioned this on this very site TWO days ago, I’m quite excited. Actually in Vegas right now and wish the show was already up and running!!
