Now that Silver Linings Playbook is getting all kinds of nominations from the Golden Globes and the Academy, I don’t think I’ll be forgetting David O. Russell‘s name anytime soon. The critically-acclaimed director has a new movie in the works and an all-star cast to go with. Right now Emmy Award-winning comedian Louis C. K. is in talks to star alongside Christian Bale, Jeremy Renner, and Bradley Cooper in a currently untitled project (formerly called American Bullshit). Click inside to learn more!

After conquering TV, Louis C.K. is tackling the film world’s A-list of directors.
The multihyphenate, who recently starred in Woody Allen‘s upcoming comedy Blue Jasmine, is in talks to take on a key role inDavid O. Russell‘s next project, an untitled film formerly dubbed American Bullshit.
The period drama, which already stars Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner and Amy Adams, begins production next month.
Penned by Eric Singer (The International), the film centers on con artist Mel Weinberg, who worked with the FBI in a far-reaching corruption case that stretched from Atlantic City to Washington, D.C. The Louieactor will play an FBI agent.

Sooo, I’m kinda psyched for this one! I still haven’t seen Silver Linings but it’s next on my must-watch-before-the-Oscars movie list. With this cast– and I reeeallllyyyy hope they get Louie– I think we have a lot to look forward to!
