Britney Spears Reportedly Quits ‘The X-Factor’ To Focus On New Music

Sooo, we have some very good news for those of you who’ve been waiting on more deets about Britney Spears’s forthcoming album. Recently we’ve gotten confirmation that the album is definitely going down, and we’ve learned that Brit-Brit will be all up in the studio with Hit Boy and (my girl!!!Ester Dean– which means we can expect some very good things. With this new report, I think it’s fair to say that Britney is taking her return to music very (vurrry) seriously. A close source has confirmed that Britney Spears has quit her job as a judge on The X-Factor! Something tells me that everybody’s pretty much okay with that, lol. Click inside to learn more!

TMZ has the report:

Britney Spears will NOT be a judge on “X Factor” next season — and it’s entirely her doing … TMZ has learned.

We have unimpeachable sources who tell us Britney loves the show but wants to focus on her music … which she is doing right now.  Britney is in the studio recording her 8th album, with some help from and producer Hit-Boy, the brains behind Kanye and Jay-Z’s “N****s in Paris.”

One of our sources tells us … “Britney loves Simon, she likes Demi Lovato but her thing is music.”

We’re told after she completes the album, Britney is seriously considering going on tour again.

Walking away from $15 mil …Yeah, she’s that rich.

Although we don’t have confirmation from Britney or her people yet, this news sounds about right. It makes perfect sense to me that Britney would go this route; we need her to be up in the studio right now so she and The X-Factor are gonna need to go the way of DUNZO.

Now, I didn’t watch The X-Factor but y’all know that Trent did and– while he supported his Queen being on there– he reeeeally wanted her to “ditch The X Factor and focus squarely on a new album of 22 songs … then a concert tour.” LOL. Methinks Trent called it! And, as a true PITNB gal myself, I’m pretty friggen excited too!

Joanne, haha! It was bound to happen, right? When I did that birthday post everyone sent me to ‘In The Zone’ and yeah. That was it for me!

I give it up to her for staying professional, for showing up every week to do the show, for sticking it out without any major drama, and for showing everyone who said none of those thing would happen that they were wrong. I think being on the show helped her in ways that go beyond financial. It showed her another side to the biz, and I think it proved to her that she was indeed capable of pulling it off. The juicy fruit of that is she is now looking for other creative outlets, music included, and us lucky fans are gonna eat it up!
