Last week we got to see a promo video for The Walking Dead Season 3, Part 2 and today we get to see a just-released, pretty kickass poster for the show. As you may know, The Walking Dead went on a holiday hiatus over the past few weeks but the show is scheduled to return with all new episodes next month. To promote the show’s return, AMC has released this new promo poster that features the show’s good guy and its bad guy. Click below to see the poster in full and read more about the second half of season 3 in the accompanying press release.
With his group in tatters, his sanity in question, and his own son questioning his every move, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) must somehow pull everyone together to face their greatest challenge — the Governor (David Morrissey). In order to survive, he must risk everything, including the group’s very humanity. Season three’s mid-season finale aired December 2, making “The Walking Dead” the first cable series in television history to reign as the biggest show of the fall season among Adults 18-49, beating out all broadcast and cable entertainment series. The episode totaled 15.2 million viewers for the night. Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, “The Walking Dead” tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The series stars Andrew Lincoln, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, Chandler Riggs, Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson, Melissa McBride, David Morrissey and Danai Gurira.
Tease, tease, tease … that is all we’re gonna get until The Walking Dead returns on February 10. I think everyone will agree that Season 3 has been, thus far, a damn good season and I’m really, really anxious for the show to return. I guess I don’t mind waiting if we are promised a bunch of exciting episodes to finish out the season. Can’t wait. Really can’t wait.
