Watch: A New Clip From ‘The Carrie Diaries’ Hits The Internets

Back in October we got to see a season preview of the upcoming new series The Carrie Diaries, which tells the story of the young Carrie Bradshaw before she was all growed up in Sex and the City. We are now just days away from the series premiere of the show and today we get to check out a scene from the pilot episode. I was able to preview the pilot last Summer and I really loved what I saw. The clip embedded above is one of my favorite scenes from the episode so I think you might like it, too. If you are still unfamiliar with The Carrie Diaries, you can click below and check out a new promo trailer for the show. Even tho this new series isn’t exactly like Sex and the City, I have a feeling that SaTC fans will dig this show … based on what I’ve seen, I’m sold. More »

Last month we got to see a new promo video for the forthcoming 4th season of The Voice that introduces new judges Shakira and Usher Raymond. Today we not only get to see 2 new promo images of Shakira and Usher in their new Voice chairs but we also get to read excerpts from a new interview chronicled by Billboard magazine. Are Rihanna, Beyoncé And Azealia Banks On A New Lady Gaga Track Called ‘Ratchet’?

Do y’all remember a while back we heard that Azealia Banks had collaborated with Lady Gaga and Kanye West on two separate tracks? Well, when Azealia confirmed the rumor, she said that one of the two Lady Gaga songs is titled Ratchet. Because, as we know, this is pretty much the season of ratchet. Anyhoo, the interwebs have been all abuzz because Beyoncé and Rihanna have both shared seemingly coded messages that might hint at their involvement with the project. Trent, in fact, shared a picture of Bey the other day, and she was rocking a Houston Rockets hat, along with a pair of Ratchet earrings. I gotta be honest– if this collabo is going down, I’m kind of excited. Just not about the title, lol. Click inside for more!

Watch: Romeo Beckham Stars In The Burberry Spring/Summer 2013 Campaign Video

Last month we saw video and photo promo items that introduced Romeo James Beckham as the newest model for Burberry. Today we get to see a newly released promo video that features the young Beckham boy modeling quite a few items from the forthcoming Spring/Summer 2013 Burberry line. As you can see above, Romeo runs around and mugs for the camera while the adult models model the clothing. It looks like fun, to be honest. That being said, I think the charm of Romeo as a model is starting to wear off. What do y’all think?

Ugh. I hate to do this to my absolute favorite new artist, but here we go: Frank Ocean was BUSTED y’all! The six-time Grammy nominee/genius who brought us Channel Orange (and the forthcoming Outkast reunion we’ve all been waiting for) was caught driving on a suspended licence with weed in his possession. All I know is, those cops betta not have hurt my baby!!!!! Deets inside, y’all.

Britney Spears Is Working With One Of The ‘Watch The Throne’ Producers

On New Year’s Eve we learned from our dear Britney Spears herself that she is currently hard at work on new music for a new album. Wee!! But, we really didn’t get many details about the project at the time. Today we learn from Entertainment Weekly magazine a major detail that is sure to excite us all. You may recall back in early December that songwriter Elijah Blake revealed that he is writing songs for Britney’s new album … but according to Britney‘s rep, Blake is NOT working with Britney at all. Instead, the rep reveals that she is working with Hit-Boy (real name Chauncey Hollis), the producer responsible for the massive Jay-Z and Kanye West hit song N***** in Paris. Um, wow! More »

The Ol' Gang Is Back At It!

Revengers!!! In all the madness of the 2012-2013 transition, I kinda forgot that my favorite shows are coming back! The winter season finale of Revenge was not as dramatic as many of us expected it to be, and a lot of people have been disappointed with Season 2 (especially in comparison to Season 1). Although I think some of the Revenge-y charm has been lost, I’m still crazy excited for this Sunday’s episode, and for our first recap of 2013 on Monday! Succumbing To The ‘Abbey’

Despite my better judgement, I finally took the advice of some friends and started watching the PBS Masterpiece Theater series Downton Abbey and, as loathe as I am to admit it, I think I’ve become a fan. Because I’m not a fan of period pieces (generally), I totally dismissed all the hype about the show as silly nonsense. When I learned that my friend Rob liked the show … I was really surprised. He hates everything (but in a clever way) and if Downton Abbey was a show that he actually liked, then there had to be something good about it. My recent acquisition of Apple TV has put the first 2 seasons of the show at the ready and … on a lark I decided to watch the first episode. I didn’t love it immediately. By the third ep, I had to keep watching just to see what would happen next and, well, today I’m starting season 2. More »

We are just weeks away from the premiere of the new season of American Idol and, as you should be well aware, we will finally get to see new judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban in action. Today we get to see the entire judging panel of Idol plus host Ryan Seacrest on the cover of the new issue of The Hollywood Reporter. The Reporter interviews everyone at once and, at least as far as I can tell, they all seemed to behave properly … but, who really knows.
