In the beginning of January the ugly rumor about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith breaking up reared its ugly head again. We first heard the rumors last August and of course nothing has been confirmed. We did hear reports about Jada calling on the services of top Hollywood divorce attorney, Laura Wasser, and there has been a lot of smoke surrounding these two for a while now…but now it seems maybe things are looking up for the Smiths. Jada has released a new love song and dedicated it to her hubby, Will. Maybe things are back on track for these two? Check out the song and read her sweet dedication note…
On Tuesday, Jada posted onto Facebook that she is releasing a new song called ‘Burn’. She also wrote a very sweet note dedicating the release to her husband of 14 years..
This is what she wrote…
With the major losses we have experienced in the last few weeks…
We should remember…
Our lives are worth living fully.
Therefore…
Our risks are worthy.
Our mistakes are worthy.
Our traumas are worthy as well.
The very paths we are told not to
tread are the paths that hold the
keys to our deepest understanding of
love for our lives and ourselves.
Self love is the gateway to truly loving
another…deeply
We were born to be loved and to love…
fiercely.
Will,
I love you.
Happy Valentine’s Day.
This is for you.
Isn’t that just gorgeous? The letter is very deep and heartfelt and I can’t help feeling like she is publicly acknowledging that they have been through a rough patch but that their love is strong enough to withhold adversity. I wonder what she meant by “the major losses we have experienced in the last few weeks.” Hope it wasn’t anything too serious. From this note, it does sound like their love is intense and fierce, as she says, but also very romantic.
The song ‘Burn’ (which you can listen to below) is clearly a love song. It says… “Can you feel my heartbeat?/Next to yours?/Stay here within me/Never leave me/I want to burn.” I’m not sure it is totally my fave song of year, but I do love the sentiment that she dedicated it to her husband.
Listen to Jada’s song and see what you think…

Yikes. Well, she certainly did nothing to take the attention off of her and Will with the line about the “major losses”. I imagine the media will be trying to dig up all the dirt there ASAP.
