Last November we got to check out the first video trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman and altho actress Kristen Stewart has been cast as Snow White, she was barely featured in the trailer and spoke no lines. Last month, we got to check out a second trailer for the film … and again, barely any K. Stew and deffo no lines from her. Today we get to check out a new promo image from Huntsman that features Kristen and her co-star Chris Hemsworth. Obvs, we can’t hear from her in this photo … but at least we see that she is still in the film.

It may have ‘Snow White’ in the title, but the new Kristen Stewart film version of the fairytale is clearly a far cry from the classic Disney cartoon version so beloved by fans. A new film still from Snow White and the Huntsman shows Stewart and co-star Chris Hemsworth in a dramatic pose where it looks like they are hiding from danger. A scared looking Stewart comes face to face with Hemsworth axe in the photograph which sees the pair hiding out behind a tree. Stewart is wearing a long gown and her hair is long and dyed a shade darker than her usual mid-brown. Hemsworth, meanwhile, wears what looks like battle dress and clutches on to both Stewart and his axe in the shot, which is the latest teaser to be released ahead of the film’s release later this year. The grown-up version of the children’s story boasts Stewart in the title role, with Hemsworth as the huntsman and Charlize Theron as a malevolent evil queen.

I think it’s pretty clear that Snow White is not the star of this film, hence, Kristen Stewart is not the star of this film. It’s nice, tho, that they are starting to feature her in promo photos … after all, her character is named in the film’s title. I hate to say it but I grow increasingly excited to see this film the more promo stuff I see. Trust me, I have zero interest in the K. Stew part but … I really want to see Charlize Theron in action as the Evil Queen. I guess it’s too much to hope for that Snow White will get the ax literally in this film … right?
