Beyoncé only gave birth a few weeks ago to the adorable Blue Ivy (who we got to see in pics the other day) and already we have heard that she may be planning new projects to write and record in 2012. Reports are surfacing that the guys that did “Halo” and “I Was Here” for Bey are working on some new material for her, which means that she might be back in the studio sooner than we think, and we may have some new Beyonce music this year. Woohoo!

Ryan Tedder, OneRepublic frontman and co-writer of Beyoncé tunes has been working on some new material for her. He came out yesterday and said, “All I can say is, you kind of feed her the best that you have and she’s this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in.”
“The conversations about her next album literally just started and there [are] two projects happening,” says Tedder. The songwriter did not divulge the nature of the projects, though he did mention that he is submitting songs about motherhood and that the singer is not planning to chase current trends in pop music. “She’s not interested in 2012, she’s interested in what’s [going to sound good for] 2013.”
We did hear daddy, Jay-Z’s song ‘Glory’ very soon after Blue Ivy came around but I didn’t think Bey would release anything just yet. I think a new song about motherhood would be perfect for Beyonce now, and I can just hear it…. It will be so great to have some new Beyonce music. I didn’t think we would see anything from her yet, given that she has just given birth and all. But, I suppose, Beyonce is a bit of a wonder woman so I shouldn’t be that surprised.

Seriously, cant’t Beyonce raise Ivy and give us a break? She is more overexposed than Lindsay Lohan’s upper thighs.
The only person in music that is way overexposed is Rihanna. I mean come on. She needs a year off from everything including her own songs and featured songs as well.
i read she could have up to two albums this year.
i dunno i find even doing one already a bit too much. i think her & her music could totally benefit from a long break.
Ugh, I agree with you all. Beyonce, stay home and enjoy your baby..they grow way too quickly. Her music career is established enough to allow her to take a year off. Her fans will love it when she returns and the rest of us will love the break from her.
I just want a tourrr. :)
