Earlier today, we got to check out the Lindsay Lohan promo videos for her upcoming stint as host on Saturday Night Live this weekend and right now, we get to check out video from her upcoming interview on The Today Show tomorrow morning. According to Lindsay herself, she has given up partying for good … she is now a homebody … and she is clean and sober. Now … as much as I would LOVE to believe her, I simply cannot. BUT, I do believe that if she is serious about cleaning up her act then she is on the right track. Click below to check out L. Rufus Wainwright Releases The Cover Artwork For His New Album

Back in February of 2011, we learned that singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright became the father of a baby girl named Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen (who was birthed by Lorca Cohen, daughter of Leonard Cohen) but today we get our first look at his newest baby. Rufus is readying the release of a new album titled Out of the Game and if you click below, you will get your first look at the album art for the new disc. Earlier this month we got a surprising update from the comic book world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer about Buffy Summers‘s unplanned pregnancy (and the choice she now has to make) but today we get a bit of a fun update from the comic book world of Buffy. Juliet Landau, the actress who played the villanious vampire Drusilla on the TV series, will be penning a special spin-off comic book series based on the Drusilla character! Taking a page from the promo imagery released by Madonna for her Hard Candy album, J. The Cannes Film Festival is gearing up for its 65th year and to celebrate they have chosen Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe to grace the poster artwork to promote this year’s film fest. Not only is this year the 65th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival but it is also the 50th anniversary of Monroe‘s death … so, I guess, it seemed fitting to use her as this year’s poster star. Back in November we got our first look at Mariah Carey in the recording studio and, as you may recall, she was lookin’ a bit glammed up for the occasion. Last month, we got to see new photos of Mimi in the studio with producer Jermaine Dupri … and again, homegirl was lookin’ hot. Today we get to see a new photo, shared by MC herself, that shows her hard at work in the recording studio working on her new album … and as you can see below, she did so make-up free and fresh-looking. Whew. After a 2 week whirlwind 6 year anniversary trip turned engagement trip, David and I are finally home again in LA. Even tho we had an amazing time in NYC, then in Amsterdam, then in London, then in NYC again … it is UTTERLY fantastic to be home again. Our day yesterday was pretty standard but I did get to see an old friend in NYC before we made the long flight home. More »

Monkees Singer Davy Jones Has Passed Away

Sad news, music fans … Davy Jones, one of the members of the pop group The Monkees has passed away at the age of 66. According to a report from TMZ, Jones‘s press rep reveals that he died of a heart attack. Altho I’m not the biggest Monkees fan anymore, I used to LOVE their music and TV series when I was a wee little kid. This is such bummer news ;( More »
