While most people are extremely happy about and for Beyoncé and Jay-Z on the birth of their first born child Blue Ivy, other more nefarious people are not. Beulah Hill Baptist Church in West End, NC was defaced this week when vandals posted a message on their church sign that referred to baby Blue Ivy as Satan. It’s unclear if the offensive message was meant as an unfunny joke or if the whack jobs actually believe that baby Blue is “evil” but the church sign message is pretty outrageous and sad. Beyonce’s new baby Blue Ivy Carter is the devil incarnate — this according to some heartless vandal who defaced the sign in front of a North Carolina church yesterday … writing, “Beyonce had her baby. Satan is on Earth.” The pastor at Beulah Hill Baptist Church in West End, NC tells TMZ, he discovered the vandalism yesterday after receiving numerous complaints from locals — and removed it immediately. The pastor insists, the church had nothing to do with the apocalyptic message … it was simply the victim in a random act of mischief.

Ugh … some people really make me sick. When I first heard about this story, my immediate assumption was that the church sign was a joke created on one of those church sign generator sites … but it turns out that this particular church sign was actually vandalized. It’s a shame that some people would say this kind of thing about an innocent baby, it’s even more shameful if some people actually believe that Blue Ivy is in any way “evil” but … you know you’re a famous baby when you get talked about on church signs. The last famous baby to get mentioned on a church sign recently was a little boy, born in a manger a long time ago in a little town of Bethlehem. Hmmmm … in that regard, Blue Ivy is in good company.
