At the start of this week, popstar Sky Ferreira tweeted a photo from her V magazine photoshoot where she got all dolled up as Madonna for the mag’s annual Music Issue. Sky informed us that her spread was shot by famed photographer Mario Testino and that the rest of the photos would be released soon. Today, we get to see a batch of Sky‘s Madonna-inspired photos for V magazine as we preview the upcoming Music Issue. Check out wannabe Sky in various Madonna drag below.

For V75 The Music Issue, Sky Ferreira pays tribute to the by many means inimitable icon, Madonna. For the occasion, She gives V a few exclusive quotes on what makes the original Material Girl the perfect pop role model. “Madonna inspires me to be strong, fearless, and smart,” she says. “She’s more than just sexy, or someone with good songs, she’s the type of woman I want to be. I want to inspire people the way she has.”
