Back in December Trent reported that Rose O’Donnell was engaged to Michelle Rounds, her girlfriend of less than a year. Originally we heard that they would be married by xmas (and that even seemed like a massive rush) but now we hear that they plan for spring nuptials…

Rosie seems VERY excited and happy about having snagged Michelle as her bride-to-be, she gushes when she talks about how “perfect” she is. She has told reporters that “She’s like Ann-Margret…I constantly go, ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ She has Mattel stamped on her ass…she’s literally perfection.” Awww….that’s actually pretty cute.

They announced their engagement in early December during a commercial break on her own talk show and said that she knew that Michelle was ‘the one’.

What makes Rounds a keeper? “She’s so unbelievably connected and refined,” the comic said Tuesday. “I so love her embracing her femininity in a real feminist manner. To be able to be a lesbian, feminine, feminist is pretty sexy.”

When Trent first revealed that the couple were engaged, he was super excited for the happy couple, as we all are, but it did seem like they were rushing things a bit.. having met, gotten engaged, and married in less than a year. Now we have learned that they are planning on bringing the wedding forward by a few months. They plan to tie the knot this spring and are already into the swing of wedding planning.

I’m really happy for these two, and their families, Rosie has said that her 4 kids with ex Kelli Carpenter are really excited about their mom’s upcoming wedding, and will be taking part in the nuptials. Who wouldn’t want happy families and couples in love.. I say, who cares about the rushed engagement – maybe they just cant wait to be married?
