Last week we learned that E! News correspondant < strong>Giuliana Rancic returned to work 2 weeks after her successful double mastectomy cancer surgery. A day later, we learned that she and hubby Bill Rancic attended their first in-person appearance together here in SoCal. Yesterday we saw photos of lovebirds Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes celebrated New Year’s Eve together after the pair traveled from LA to NYC last weekend. Today we get to see who Ryan spent his New Year’s Day with … it turns out, Ryan decided to share the first day of 2012 with the woman he loves most in this world — his mother Donna. Police Arrest A ‘Person Of Interest’ In A String Of Arson Fires In LA

For the past few nights, starting on Thursday night, a rash of arson fires have been popping up all over the Hollywood area (some fires spread to the Valley over the weekend) and last night Police finally made an arrest. Since Thursday night (leading up to and including last night) 55 arson fires were set in Hollywood, West Hollywood, North Hollywood and Burbank. The arsonist’s m.o. is that he would set cars parked in carports on fire, they would then burn and spread to the attached homes. A “person of interests” was arrested last night in Hollywood after he was seen on surveillance video from some of the fires. Click below to find out all the latest deets. More »

Every year, Mariah Carey makes her way to Aspen, CO to celebrate the Xmas/New Year holidays. When she started dating then eventually married Nick Cannon, he joined in on her annual pilgrimage to Aspen. Last year, Mimi and Nick gave birth to their twin babies Monroe and Moroccan Scott so, naturally, they too get to spend their holidays in Colorado. 2012 looks like it’s off to a great start for Ms. Lindsay Lohan. If 2011 was the year of arrests, courtdates and nudie magazine spreads, then 2012 (thus far) seems to be the year of NO arrests, NO courtdates (yet) and fully clothed magazine features! OK, so it’s only the second day of 2012 but … yeah, it’s already a better year for L. Lo than last year was. Yesterday we saw photos of lovebirds Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes making their way thru LAX Airport together on their way to NYC for the New Year’s Eve holiday. Today we get to see some photos from their fun (?) last night. It would appear from the look on Ryan‘s face (which you can’t see properly because he’s trying to hide behind his backpack) that he wasn’t really in the mood to be social with the photogs but I hope he had himself a great New Year’s Eve night with his ladylove Eva Mendes as they celebrated in New York City. Beyoncé Is Still Pregnant, Spent New Year’s Eve Partying In Brooklyn

Last Wednesday rumors were flying around that the heavily pregs Beyoncé secretly checked herself into a hospital so that she could give birth to her first baby with hubby Jay-Z in private. On Friday, the rumor mill churned out the report that Beyoncé gave birth to a baby girl that was named Tiana May. Today we learn that both rumors are likely untrue because the still pregnant Beyoncé and hubby Jay-Z were spotted out in public last night celebrating New Year’s Eve with friends in Brooklyn, NY. Happy New Year, Happy 2012!! Yes, things are running a little slow today in the wake of my amazing New Year’s Eve celebration with friends last night but … the show must go on!
