Kristin Cavallari and her fiance, NFL boy Jay Cutler, have not had the smoothest of engagements, but now they have some very exciting news because Kristin is pregnant. Guess baby plans will take over from wedding plans?
Kristin and Jay met through their friend, Giuliana Rancic, and hit it off straight away by all accounts. After eight months of dating they got engaged in April last year, but by July they had hit a rough start and they called off their engagement. On, off and on again… news was out in November that the wedding was back on for the hot couple.
Now just 2 months later news is out that they are expecting a baby…
“The past year has been interesting,” Cavallari, 24, told Us Mag in December. “There have been a lot of ups and downs, but overall it’s been great…We’re just enjoying being engaged…we were definitely planning the first time, but I can’t plan the same wedding. I need to do something entirely different.”
Something different indeed… I hope that Kristin and Jay are happy with the news that they are expecting (they certainly seem it!) It might not have been in the plans, given that they just got back together, and Kristin has said that they are “just enjoying being engaged” but it is always wonderful and happy news about a BABY!
The couple released a statement saying: “We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together…it’s an amazing time in our life and we can’t wait to meet the new addition to our growing family.”
I personally hope that the relationship settles down and becomes less tumultuous if there will be a third team member now, and I cant help worrying that they will now only stick together just because of baby. Worries aside (that’s just me!) I am very happy for Kristin and Jay. Congrats you two! Looking forward to seeing some cute pics of the bump – she will be one hot momma!

Well now we know why they got back together. LOL, I hope this lasts but odds are against them. With that said congrats and best of luck! worst case she will have good child support checks.

Well, it worked for Jessica and Cash! Ugh…sorry, I hate relationships hastily glued together by babies, but whatever- every baby deserves a happy and loving home. Hope these two can provide that, and all the best to them.
i thought that too, then felt immediately badly for thinking it, and then thought, “why did i feel guilty for thinking it?” if they are making the choice to come together for that reason, and not for any pressure, but by choice, then i say amen and best wishes.

lets face it, these two will never walk down the isle. if anything i see a realllly long engagement. IF they down ending up getting married, i dont see it lasting.
but congrats to them, i never pictured her to be the mom type, atleast not anytime soon.
She seems like the perfect person to get cocktails with, I have a hard time picturing her being motherly. And he has major douche face.

They broke up over the summer and announced in November that they are back together. She would be VERY pregnant if they only got back together because of a baby. Congrats to them and hopefully they can make it work this time. The cancelling of the engagement was so sudden that I was not surprised that they made up and got back together! :-)
