OMG … at LONG last … it sounds like singer Fiona Apple is FINALLY ready to release her much-delayed new album. As you may recall, I saw Fiona in concert here in LA back in August and at that time, she talked briefly about a new album but had no solid information about when the disc would be released. It sounded to me that she honestly had no idea if/when the album would be released by her record company (and that has been the case for YEARS). Yesterday, music producer (and The X Factor judge) L.A. Reid announced on his official Twitter profile that “good music” is on the way from Fiona Apple! Click below to read his tweets AND REJOICE!

YES Fiona Apple. Woot!! Now, let’s be clear … we don’t really have much information to go by from these two tweets. I am assuming that L.A. is announcing that Fiona will be releasing a new album “in the next few weeks” but there are no details at all. It’s possible she may only be releasing a single or a small EP. My heart really wants a new Fiona Apple album so … I’m gonna keep my fingers and toes crossed for a new album. OMG … I can barely stand it. At long last … new Fiona music. Can you believe it?
