Tonight is going to be a special night for David and me … because he managed to get us a dinner reservation for a new restaurant in West Hollywood, CA called ink. Some of you Top Chef fans might remember a certain contestant named Michael Voltaggio? Yeah, well, ink is his new restaurant. David isn’t a Top Chef fan at all, but he is always about trying out the hot new restaurants. I hate trying out new places but I’m a HUGE Top Chef fan so … ink is the perfect place for us to enjoy a nice dinner date night together.

Unfortunately, and due to a myriad of circumstances, David and I have gotten out of the habit of our weekly Date Nights. I’m not sure if tonight’s special dinner together at ink will signal the start of our more regular Date Nights or not but we are deffo long overdue for a night on the town :) To be honest, the only reason I’m not big on trying out fancy new restaurants is because I am easy to please foodwise. That said, I am excited to see what ink is all about. Based on his Top Chef work, Michael Voltaggio seems like a very talented chef … I can’t wait to find out for myself tonight.
