Yesterday we learned the HAPPY NEWS that Cougar Town will (at long last) return to ABC on February 14 with its 3rd season. Today we get to check out the season 3 promo poster for the show. As you can see below, Cougar Town has decided to keep it’s terrible name … but since the show is so damn good, I don’t think many people mind anymore that the title Cougar Town really has NOTHING at all to do with the show. I know of lot of you readers out there are just as excited for the return of Cougar Town as I am (PENNY CAN!!!) so I’m sure you’ll get a kick out of this new poster. I’ve been hearing some big spoilery-type rumors about the upcoming season of the show but … I’m hesitant to reveal them because I don’t want to ruin the surprise (like it was ruined for me). I will say that the upcoming 3rd season will have a BIG development for some of the characters so … I can’t wait to see how that development turns out. February 14 can’t get here soon enough for me. Wee!!!

They have embraced the fact that “COUGAR TOWN” is a terrible name for the show and have therefore managed to turn it into something positive. I hope they never change it.

I’ve forgotten how much I liked it. And for that reason, I probably won’t tune in when it comes back on air. It’s likely their last season anyway. What ABC did is clearly one of the nails in the show’s coffin.
