Yesterday we learned that Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey welcomed their third child into the world on Friday. Sources claimed that Camila gave birth to a girl, but Matthew says otherwise! I’m kind of inclined to believe the guy who was there, so congrats on the new baby boy! A few of us were wondering what name Camila and Matthew would come up with; their older children are named Vida and Levi (great names, I think). Camila (@iamcamilaalves) gave birth to our third child yesterday morning. Our son, Livingston Alves McConaughey was born at 7:43am on 12.28.12. He greeted the world at 9lbs. and 21 inches. Bless up and thank you for your well wishes. Happy New year, and just keep livin, Camila and Matthew McConaughey.

And yeah, I love the ‘v’ trend in the names– Vida, Levi, and Livingston sounds pretty cute.
Thoughts on the new baby’s deets? Nine pounds is no joke! Kudos to Camila, lol! Here’s hoping she’s getting lots of rest right about now.
Honestly – the first thing I think of is “Livingstone, New Jersey”. If I didn’t know that town name, I might have an easier time accepting the name. At least it’s not too far out there!

I can’t help but think that baby#3′s name is inspired by the charity he heads, JustKeepLivin’. I wonder if they will call him, “Livin”? Bet they do.

Also Vida means life in Spanish, and LIVINGston. Does Levi mean life in any language?
Diana, I know Levi’s a Hebrew name. Looks like it means ‘attached’ or ‘joined in harmony.’
Levi is an anagram of “live”.
