It’s been a while since we’ve checked out a new Lana Del Rey photo shoot. The last time we saw the singer she was rocking the winter H&M campaign. I don’t know why I thought her Vogue China spread was gonna be, like, some kind of crazy (maybe because I love what Stockton Johnson did with Leighton Meester that one time). But it’s really the same old pictures of LDR. And while I do love looking at this girl’s face, I’d really like to see some new ish, lol! Now, I love the Mulberry blazer and top in that first shot, and the other looks are pretty as well. I just can’t figure out why the photographers keep letting her get away with this, lol! Wee Khim should have been like Look Lana. We get it. But we’re gonna try something… different!
Alas, it wasn’t meant to be. And for now, we’ve got more tragic, gorgeous LDR in all her glory.

I think she looks pretty but I wish she would stop with that big hairstyle thing! And she looked even prettier before surgery! Oh well.
Gosh, I don’t think that the model is the one who gets to chose her hair or the clothes she wears. Vogue, after all, hired Lana and she is paid to do what the magazine wants. I’d say she doesn’t get to choose the expressions either. That said, Vogue would likely want her to look more or less like she normally does–the Look they hired her for in the first place. All that said, I think LDR DOES look at least a little different in this shoot–she’s looking up some and her eyes are wide open.
Who did this shoot? It’s like a spread from a Korean clothing catalog. How can you have such a bland photo shoot with someone like this?
