Terrence Malick‘s next sweeping masterpiece of cinematic artistry won’t be released here in the US until next April but it will open, first, in the UK in February … and so, the first trailer for the film has been released. Click the embed above to watch the UK trailer for To The Wonder and get your first look at Malick‘s latest work of art. It doesn’t really show us much (which is expected) but it deffo looks very Malicky … sweeping camera work and all. As I understand it, the film stars Ben Affleck as an environmental inspector person with Olga Kurylenko playing his wife and Rachel McAdams as his childhood sweetheart. Javier Bardem also stars in the film as a priest undergoing a test of faith … or something. At this point, it’s all still mysterious but we should expect nothing less from good ol’ Terrence.
