The Producers Of ‘Twilight’ Would Like Academy Voters To Consider Kristen Stewart For A ‘Best Actress’ Oscar

So … at the end of the year, movie studios publish For Your Consideration ads in the trade magazines here in Hollywood in order to convince members of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to nominate actors, directors, producers and films for Oscar awards. This year, films like Lincoln, Argo, Flight, Django Unchained and others have already begun releasing For Your Consideration ads for those films. Likewise, the studio behind The Twilight Saga films have also released ads for the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn — Part 2 … and if you can believe it, they are actually gunning for Kristen Stewart to secure a Best Actress nomination. See the ad below.

I honestly don’t know what to say about this. Oh wait, yes I do … BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

LOL, girl, just no. Hahahahahahaha!

  • Krissy

I doubt she had anything to do with this. If she was going to push for something, it would be On the Road. Pretty big waste of money, though!

    • @Krissy — Yeah, studios and producers are the ones responsible for these ads.

  • Gillian

A Razzie Award + Kristen Stewart = Destiny

  • chadSF

I’m sorry but KS should be considered more for a Razzie than an Oscar. SRSLY!

  • SittingPat

A fool studio and its money are quickly parted. Now we know what they’re doing with some of the millions and billions in profits. Creating inside humor.

    • Krissy

      Very true!

  • Meghan

    LOLOL!!! Really?? C’mon!!!!

  • Isabelle

Excuse me while I roll on the floor taken by a giant bout of hysteria laughter.

    • Joan

      This was me. Just now.

  • Rebecca

I can think of a lot of ways the $ spent on this could make the world a better place. This isn’t one of them.

  • ClaireMichelle

    Hahahahahahahhaaha. Adorable.

  • Joanna

I’m sorry but other than fan voted awards like the Teen Choice Awards or the Jids Choice Awards Kristen Stewart won’t win, let alone be nominated for ANY award.

  • Sandy!

“Um wow. This is, like, so cool. *flustered* I can’t believe this! *blink blink* I, um, want to thank Rob and um, *blink blink* everyone involved in the movies, and um my family. *messes with hair* Oh, and the fans. So yeah *blink blink blink* um thanks”

    • Sandy!

You can’t tell me that’s not how her acceptance speech would go!

    • Joan

  • Vicky

    Um… yeah… I highly doubt it…

  • Deb Hodgon

That’s hilarious! Poor girl couldn’t act her way out of a paper bag.

  • Mark

I do think KStew is a good actress (loved her in The Runaways and Adventureland) and I haven’t even see BD Part 2 but…

  • Steph

I saw the original post and then checked to make sure it wasn’t April 1 and I had slept for 4 months. This seems like something you would post on April fools

  • Sergeja

    Oh please, srsly. LOL

  • nicole

    HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA – that is all.

  • Megan

    *takes deep breadth*

  • Laura Lynn

You guys are totally rude! Kristen works her butt off at everything she does. Just because you don’t like the role she’s playing doesn’t mean she doesn’t do a wonderful job. No one, NO ONE else could have played Bella better than Kristen! She deserves some recognition, not derision for her work.

    • VV

Does that include stealing another woman’s husband?

  • Samantha

Look I wont jump on this hate bandwagon, we’re judging her acting performance not her personal life. I think the last couple of films she was exceptional and fit the role to a ‘T’. This hate is seriously getting old, if Rob can forgive her then so can I.

    • Joan

Um, I don’t think anyone has made a comment about her personal life under this post. The reactions (however unfavorable) have been strictly related to the studio’s “for your consideration” ads for Breaking Dawn.

    • Samantha

Haha are you giving me attitude over my opinion? Really? Get a life.

    • Audrey

Please read a book on acting such as Meisner’s book or The Intent to Live and then try to tell anyone she’s a good actress with a straight face. She’s decent, but she emotes and indicates everything. You can’t compare that to actors such as Daniel Day Lewis, Sally Fields, Jamie Foxx and Leonardo Dicaprio who become the characters truthfully. This statement has nothing to do with her personal life.

  • Alice

    maybe it’s a joke?! =D

  • CherryCola

    bwahaha ha!!!

  • aubrey

Producers: (shrugging) Well, at least we can’t say we didn’t try.

  • Audrey

As much as I love these movies, Kristen would need to learn how to act in a believable manner to ever be nominated for an Oscar. And I LOVE the Twilight movies, but come on…
