First Listen: Dido Teams Up With Kendrick Lamar For Her New Single, ‘Let Us Move On’

Dido Still Hearts Hip-Hop
'Let all that is lost be forgotten/Let us move on'

We all remember Dido from Eminem‘s 1999 hit Stan, and the British singer/songwriter is back with a new track from her forthcoming album, Girl Who Got Away. I’m especially excited because Let Us Move On features my new fave rapper, Kendrick Lamar. Every morning I listen to Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe (sans Lady Gaga, lol), and now I have another morning inspirational in Let Us Move On. Peep the audio above! Any Dido fans in the building? The lyrics to the song are absolutely beautiful– you can check them out over at DirectLyrics.

Girl Who Got Away drops on March 4th, 2013.

  1. LOVE!!! such a chill song…great to relax to, even with the rap verse. Thanks for posting :)

  2. I was a big fan of Dido’s first album. Slowly though, I began to lose interest in her music. This song might just make me a fan again. There’s something just so incredibly soothing about her voice.

  3. I think we all remember Dido for much more than one song she did with wahts-his-name in ’99, lol. She made some brilliant music in the 90′s then went somewhat into obscurity. This sounds like a nice return though…very soothing and chilled. Will there be a rap-free version? Its like a hail bullets to my ears! SO not needed, and any more than one passage would have truly ruined the song.

  4. THis is a hot record..Dido is on right now…have u seen her new video? http://smarturl.it/DidoNoFreedomVideo
