Y’all. I am so struggling over this look! I love the idea of it! I love the risk she took! I love how badly I want to love it! LOL, help me work through this, okay?! Kristen Stewart is still promoting her latest film On The Road and we’ve seen her rocking some pretty exciting stuff on the red carpet. The New York premiere of the film just took place, and Kristen showed up in a super-sheer, barely-there Erdem dress, that I really, really wanted to love… but couldn’t. The color is ridiculously gorgeous on K-Stew but the original dress was much longer and I can’t get over the pajama-y feel to it all. I love, love, love the neon Christian Louboutin pumps, and Kristen‘s makeup was great, but I gotta agree with the Fashion Critic over at RCFA– they really should have kept the original length of the dress! But since I sooo want to love this look, I’m hoping one of you will stick up for this particular red carpet choice. Any of you think this one is bold enough to work?

Bahahahahahahaha…. no.
Love the outfit but she did not rock it! She looks so out of her element.
I die for the shoes!! But I just don’t like this dress (?) on her at all. The original looked much better longer. This one almost cuts her off at weird spots? I’m with you though, the color looks amazing on her.
I definitely love the longer version a lot more. She just looks like such a brat most of the time that I can’t ever get on board with her.
PS…I keep getting an error mention when I try to sign in. Not sure if it’s on your end or mine, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Yeah, no. Unless you need a set of PJs to induce a dream in which you’re frolicking at the beach with Danny Zuko.
Whoa, what…is…going on? (That’s totally supposed to be a jab at one of KStew’s lifeless lines from the first Twilight. Anyone?)
The dress – shall we call it a dress? Definitely should have kept the original length, but even then, I’m not sure the dress would have really flattered her. Is this look seasonably appropriate? I can imagine it for spring/summer.
Yeah, just no.
No… Really… just no.
Okay, I LOVE the shoes with it. damn. I don’t hate the dress? And I love the shot where you see the back of it. I think I’d like it a million times more without the peekaboo stomach. But I don’t hate it.
Not a fan of the outfit..I like the overlay, but not the mess underneath..The shoes are hot but not with that outfit..But she gets a pass because she’s been looking ridiculously great lately..
Kristen and her stylist normally get it right. This is all sorts of wrong. I like that she takes risks and she’s brave for wearing this mess but no.
oh noooooo. but i do love her shoes.
It reminds me of something Cher Horowitz would have worn…..
But it’s December! In New York!
Hideous & unflattering. Except the shoes. The shoes rock.
I can’t help but envision a 50′s/60′s swimsuit model in a “stylish” coverup.
