Back in August we learned the somewhat surprising news that singer Avril Lavigne got herself engaged to be married to fellow Canadian singer Chad Kroeger of Nickelback fame. It looks like Avril is a big fan of Kroeger‘s band because she decided to cover their biggest hit for the soundtrack of a new film. Avril has recorded her version of How You Remind Me for the soundtrack to a Japanese anime film titled One Piece Film: Z. If you are familiar with the Nickelback song and Avril‘s musical style then you should be prepared for what you can hear above. If not, I apologize profusely for what you’re about to hear. Honestly, some things are just so terribly terrible that they must be shared … please don’t hate me.
Now I totally believe the Mayans. The world MUST be coming to an end.

@nicole I might just give back the gorgeous Ryans to have Nickelback, Avril, and Bieber erased from my brain forever. We would still have the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal and Channing Tatum after all :) (OH and Clooney, Clooney is like a fine FINE wine.)

Yeah it’s not that bad honestly. I would have liked it more if she did a harder version I think, but it’s actually not all that bad.
