Yesterday was my last full day here in Honolulu, Hawai’i and I have to say, it was a pretty darn good one. Emma suggested we go snorkeling in Hanama Bay so that’s what we did. OMG, I can’t even tell you how beautiful it is in the bay … the photos below don’t even do it justice. We started our day relatively early so we had a lot of time to swim, snorkel, nap on the sand … it was amazing. The rest of the day was fun, too, but as always … time flies when you’re having fun.
The snorkeling was a lot of fun, even tho the water was pretty choppy due to strong winds. At one point, we drifted out farther than we were supposed to so we decided to just chill for a bit on the sand … which meant, I napped for a minute ;) After Hanama Bay, we snacked on cheese fries at Outback Steakhouse (it was Emma’s first visit and, if you can believe it, there’s an Outback right next to our hotel) and then showered and rested for a bit before we went out for one last jaunt on the town. We dined at Hula Grill then went to Hula’s for a nightcap then … sleep.
We fly back to the mainland in a few hours and I have to say, I’ll be sad to say goodbye to Hawai’i. This has been an awesome and very fulfilling trip:
I can’t wait to come back to Hawai’i again … who knows, I may be back sooner than you think ;)
And so, I must say Aloha to Hawai’i! I’ll catch y’all tomorrow back home in LA.
