Lindsay Lohan Will Be Charged With 4 Crimes On 2 Different Coasts

Earlier this morning we learned the not so shocking news that Lindsay Lohan was arrested, sigh, again in NYC, NY after she allegedly got into a fist fight with a woman in a nightclub in the wee hours this morning. As you may recall, Lindsay was most recently arrested back in September after she allegedly ran over a pedestrian … but she managed to avoid prosecution in that case. It remains to be seen if she will get off on this bust but we do know that she will be charged with assault in NYC. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! According to TMZ, Lindsay will also be charged with 3 more crimes here in LA in the wake of that car accident she lied about back in June. That would make 4 criminal charges, on 2 different coasts, all on the same day. Only Lindsay Lohan could pull off a feat like that.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the Santa Monica City Attorney will charge Lindsay TODAY with 3 CRIMES in connection with her car accident last June on Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica. After ramming her Porsche into a big rig, she lied to cops, telling them she was the passenger in the car when in fact she was the driver. Lindsay will be charged with:

– giving false information to a peace officer … punishable by up to 6 months in jail.
— obstructing or resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty … punishable by 1 year in jail.
— reckless driving … punishable by 90 days in jail.

As we first reported, when Lindsay is arraigned in L.A. — probably next week — the judge will revoke her probation in the jewelry heist case and set a hearing to determine if she will go to jail for a long period of time. One of the conditions of probation is that Lindsay must obey all laws. Speaking of which … her arrest this morning in NYC for assault (crime #4) could end up triggering a second reason to revoke her probation.

My head is actually spinning at the epicness of all of this trainwreckness. I mean, Lindsay has messed up before but damn, she’s truly outdone herself this time. I find it very hard to believe that the ruling judge in her probation case will let her off the hook but, then again, Lindsay does have an uncanny ability to avoid serious punishment so … we shall see. As I’ve been saying all along, for years now, until someone holds Lindsay accountable for her actions in a serious way (ie. seriously serious and long-lasting punishment) she will continue to spiral downward until she dies. It’s really as simple as that. It’s possible that Lohan may continue to avoid punishment and could continue to survive but the odds are not in her favor for a happy ending if she continues on her current path. The girl is a mess. AN ABSOLUTE MESS. If she doesn’t come to terms with the fact that her time is running out, then I do fear that we will one day wake up to very sad and tragic news. Sigh.

the “damn girl” thought bubble made me literally laugh out loud.

the actual story, though, is sad and f-ed up. she needs to get her shit together, for reals.

I laughed at the bubble, too. Unlike you, though…I kinda have to laugh at Lindsay, also. She has had an endless amount of chances and she still can’t get it together. It is sad, but also laughable.

OMG!!! this is going to kill AMANDA BYNES! How in the hell is she going to top this?

maybe she needs to go to jail so she can learn a freaking lesson once and for all and be appreciative of the life and opportunities she has had.

Someone needs to embrace this young woman the way a loving parent does a lost child. My vote is for Meryl Streep. Just not anyone related to her in any way.

    • @bleedingEars — What makes you think Lindsay would ever seriously accept help from anyone. She honestly believes she is innocent of everything, always.

    • bleedingEars

What makes me think that? Nothing. My other comment was about how prison rape probably wouldn’t do anything positive for her. I’m in a rare loving mood so I went in another direction today… hahaha

    • Shannon

bleedingEars, ‘I’m in a rare loving mood so I went in another direction today’ LMAO!!! OMG, that’s awesome. It’s always nice to switch it up on folks ;)

    • Krissy

How could you wish that on poor Meryl? ;)
I dont think LL needs to be embraced, she needs to be told “NO”. However, she choses to exclude people with common sense from her life because only enablers are allowed at Club Lohan. It is way overdue for Lohan to take responsibility for her own actions.

I really do think the power of a hug is being underestimated here. Let’s all hug the bitch until she comes right.

  • norcor

a legitimate prison sentence might actually provide ample time to allow whatever she has injected into her face to wear off… that would be a plus. then at lease she could check “face” off on the list of things that are a mess in her life.

As an attorney, I have personally seen clients face serious jail time for much, much less serious offenses/violations than this woman. The only real difference between them and her ? They are poor and no one knows their name. I agree 100% with Trent: she will continue to behave this way because she places no fault on herself . Only serious punishment, followed by counseling and emotional rehabilitation will teach her to accept responsibility for her actions.
BTW…I also LOL’d at the thought bubble. ;)

Can someone check my math on this: a possible 6 months, plus 1 year, plus 90 days jail time, will come out to….. about 40 minutes actual jail time for L.Lo? Am I right?

  • Tru

She needs to be in jail longer then a few days I mean 6 months to a year to really knock some sense into her. We know rehab doesn’t work for her. The only way she will learn is to have some alone time to think about how she got there away for her horrible parents and yes men that surround her

  • Joanna

Well she has only about a year and a half or so to tragically become a member of the 27 club. At the rate she’s going it’s a very real and distinct possibility :(

  • NJ

doesn’t lindsey know that coat isn’t fooling anyone? she should have borrowed amanda bynes’ magic invisibility scarf.

  • Ashley Rogalski

This girl needs a straight to rehab pass of jail pass.
