Last week we saw video of Madonna on stage with Korean pop sensation Psy performing his massive worldwide hit Gangnam Style and at the time, I thought it was the only acceptable way to enjoy the somewhat annoying song. Today, I stand corrected. Last night, during the American Music Awards, Psy performed Gangnam Style to close the show … but midway thru his performance he brought MC Hammer on stage to mash-up his song with Hammer‘s 2 Legit 2 Quit. Folks, as much as I don’t love the Gangnam Style song, this mash-up performance is AMAZING! Utterly and Truly. Check out the video above to see for yourselves. I know we gave Justin Bieber major grief for his silly baggy pants yesterday but I’m not kidding when I say it’s really very cool to see MC Hammer rock his Hammer Pants again … and rock them right! Enjoy!!
I love Gangnam style, and Psy- and about lost it when he was wearing hammer-pants. This version is great!
i love all things gangnam style (i know, i know) and this can be added to the list. so great.
and i love seeing celebs having fun with it.
I HATE Gangnam style, lol. But the 2Legit mash makes it almost tolerable. It makes me sad to think that probably 95% of the non-industry fans watching (and honestly, probably a number of the younger industry fans too) have likely never heard 2Legit or have any idea who the heck MC Hammer is. Ugh. Getting old sucks, lol

He was already a successful and controversy singer in Korea.Almost all the songs he made in Korea didn’t go well with the conservative nature of the culture. Let’s just say he got fined a lot. lol

I loved this so much I watched it twice last night! Died laughing.
This was so much fun to watch, but the best part of it all was the look on Eric Stonestreet’s (from Modern Family) face at 2:44. He made my life at that point.
