Madonna Is Readying The Release Of A New Fragrance Called ‘Truth Or Dare: Naked’

Earlier this year, back in April, Madonna officially launched her first ever celebrity fragrance Truth or Dare at an in store appearance at Macy’s in NYC, NY. Today we learn that Madonna is now launching a second fragrance, just in time for the upcoming holiday shopping season. Truth or Dare: Naked is Maddy’s second fragrance and it is being promoted with a fairly racy ad campaign. Check out the promo image below and learn more about Madonna’s new smell.

Truth or Dare by Madonna Naked is a provocative and sexy scent that reveals Madonna’s sensual inner qualities. Blending a sense of richness and flirty femininity, the fragrance is playful yet confident. A bold combination of creamy woodiness is paired with addictive vanilla nuances and sparkling florals, for a scent that is immediately captivating.

Yes, I’m sure the fragrance will generate some interest all on its own but I think it’s the promo image above that will really get people talking. That being said, seeing Madonna naked isn’t even remotely new or shocking. What I like about this promo photo is how much it hearkens back to the Madonna of the early 90’s when she released her Erotica album and accompanying Sex book. Is it weird to be nostalgic about a popstar’s former nudity? HMMM. In any event, Truth or Dare: Naked is available exclusively at Macy’s now.

Random aside: I used to work at the factory that made her Sex book and her children’s books. It was a pretty big deal and security was extra tight.

    • @fab4runner — So you’re saying you have a BOX of unopened Sex books?!?!?!?!

  • fab4runner

Haha I wish! That was actually before my time, but it’s not uncommon to have an author give the factory workers an early copy of the book they worked on as a thank you. Pretty sure Madonna did not do that, though. I worked directly on “The English Roses” and we did not get one. I recall my parents saying that the Sex book was a huge, huge deal and that all of the pallets of books had to be wrapped with black plastic instead of regular clear plastic among other things.

During my first summer there, JK Rowling gave us all a copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. So that was fun.

PS I totally meant to reply to your comment. Oops.

At first I only quickly glanced at this photo, and it looked like she has massively hairy armpits–now I CANNOT unsee it.
