‘Twilight’ Fans Have Already Started Camping Out For ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2′ Premiere

That-Ish-Cray Of The Day

In one week the final chapter (possibly) to the Twilight franchise will hit theatres and fans stans of the saga are already getting prepared for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. For us regular folks, we’re happy seeing the trailers, checking out the stills, and maybe keeping an eye on Robsten. But if you’re a true Twi-hard, then that’s just kid stuff. Now I didn’t even know this was how it went down, but apparently there’s a space outside of the Staples Center in Los Angeles where people can actually register to camp out– like with tents and everything!!!– to see the premiere. From what I understand camping out pretty much guarantees you a sighting of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and the whole crew when they hit the red carpet. So I get it… sort of. But when you see the photos in this gallery, you’re gonna crack up. The drawings, the poster board where everyone signs their name, the ‘A Twi-Mom Sleeps Here‘ sign on one of the tents– all that ish cray! I love it! Peep the gallery for more standom of epic proportions.

While there are many awesome things I have discovered since moving to Germany, the ability to buy reserved seat tickets in advanced for movies was an unexpected bonus. Thie US system is ish cray.

They aren’t camping out to see the movie, they are camping out to be front of the line at the premiere – when all the stars walk the red carpet, giving them the best chance to meet the stars/get autographs/take pictures. It certainly isn’t anything I’d want to do, but tent city has some perks to it. Yesterday Christina Perri, Paul McDonald and Nikki Reed performed for the tent city crowd. There’s a VIP tent with swag bags as well. I certainly understand why they do it.

Yup! That ish is cray. I’m (still) an avid Twi fan, and I’ve never gotten into a tent city. I say “gotten into” because THERE ARE A TON OF PEOPLE WHO TRY AND IT”S A LOTTERY. That’s right, people sign up three months in advance and can’t even get in. Here is a less crazy tent city pic: http://twitter.yfrog.com/nzh88nuj
And the actors visit the city and it’s like a family. A cray family.
