‘Jurassic Park’ 3D Releases A First Movie Poster

Closer to the Dinos than Ever Before

Back in March of this year we first learned that plans are in the works to re-release the amazing Steven Spielberg film Jurassic Park in 3D. Today we get our first look at the poster artwork for the re-release. The 3D version of Jurassic Park will hit theaters next April but this holiday season, you should start seeing this new poster on display at your local cinematheque. Click below to see the poster in full.

While I like this poster, or should I say, I don’t dislike this poster … I wish they would’ve done something more inventive with the graphics. I think this would’ve been the perfect situation to use a motion poster (ie. one of those Flash images that animates on a webpage). But, no matter, good poster or bad poster, I’m really excited to see Jurassic Park in 3D. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the film and think a 3D treatment will do WONDERS for the audience’s enjoyment. I know some people don’t love the 3D craze right now but I do. I can’t get enough. I’ll be lining up to see Jurassic Park 3D when it opens next April, will you?
