Ready To Run San Francisco

The TV Guide

In a few hours I will be flying my way up to San Francisco for the weekend ahead of my next half marathon race on Sunday. If you can believe it, this Sunday I’ll be running my 4th half marathon race this year alone … actually, my 4th in just under 2 months. In just a couple of days, I’ll be running the US Half Marathon so I need to get my buns up to SF to settle in for the big race. As you may recall, I was just in SF a few weeks ago but it’ll be nice to be back up in the city by the bay.

Honestly, I’m not really sure why I booked so many half marathon races back to back (well, from weekend to weekend). I guess I just really want to run the Golden Gate Bridge so … here I go. I’ll be keeping a low profile up in SF. I just want to eat and rest up before the race. My friend Tara (who ran the LA Half Marathon with me last Sunday) is meeting me in SF so we can run this next race together … which will make the race even better.

I hope you all enjoy the weekend to come. I know that some folks in the Northeast are still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy but hopefully relief will come soon. Happy Friday!

Have a great time in my hood! If you need any tips on post-race places to chill – just let me know!

    Good luck on the run!

So proud of you Trent! I still can’t believe you changed from someone who avoided the gym to someone who signs up for back to back marathons. It is such a cool thing, and I’m sure David appreciates it too ;o) Have fun!
