Yes! Women that I totally lurve getting acknowledged! Emeli Sandé, Marion Cotillard, and Emily Blunt were all recipients of some pretty sweet awards at the 2012 Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards and I am so ridiculously happy for them! As Trent recently mentioned, this is totally awards season and although I love me some Miranda Kerr and Mila Kunis, it’s nice to see women celebrated for being something other than ‘the sexiest woman alive’. Click inside to see how Emeli, Marion, and Emily were awarded for their general awesomeness, and peep the gallery to check out the ladies at the event.
Emeli tweeted about her Musician Of The Year win:

Marion Cotillard was chosen as the International Actor of the Year, and Emily Blunt (who we last saw debuting this new look in a photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar Australia) picked up the award for British Actor Of The Year. Both actresses have been blowing audiences away– Marion for her performance in Rust And Bone and Emily for her role in Looper. I haven’t seen either film yet, but I can’t wait to be blown away with the rest of ‘em when I do! And Emeli Sandé has the voice of a god, so yes to all these women getting these accolades!
