First Listen: Kelly Clarkson & Vince Gill, ‘Don’t Rush’

"Stopping every minute just because you're in it"
Kelly Goes Country

Earlier this month we got to hear Kelly Clarkson‘s new single Catch My Breath, the first NEW track included on her forthcoming greatest hits album Greatest Hits – Chapter 1. Today we get to hear a second NEW track from Kelly‘s greatest hits compilation titled Don’t Rush. For this new track, Kelly teamed up with Country music legend Vince Gill to remind her fans that you can take the girl out of Texas but you can’t take the Texas out of the girl. I’m not a huge Country fan so this song isn’t really my cup of tea but it’s a pretty song with a sweet message. Take a listen and see what you think. Are you a fan of Pop Kelly or Country Kelly?

  1. I love this! I definitely love country Kelly! :)

  2. country is very hit & miss for me…this right here…its definitely a hit.

  3. has a country feel but her voice just isnt country to me. pretty song though!

  4. I don’t think this is a “duet” but more like Vince singing back up. It’s an okay song, not really a great one. Still better than most of the crap out there. It kind of reminds me of “On My Own” with Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald but with less duety stuff. LOL
